The Inspiration
Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 1 Timothy 6:18-19
Carissa’s daughters, Isabelle and Ella, were among the many children who were impacted by the Covid-19 shutdown. One day while the girls were pretty upset and lonely, Carissa decided to plan a family garden. What started out as a hands-on science experiment and something to consume their time, later became a teachable moment about how God provides and his call for us to share with others. These experiences became the inspiration for Carissa’s first published book. Seeds for Sharing, is a 30-page children’s book illustrated by Award Winning illustrator Joshua Wichterich. She prays for this book to fill hearts and provide inspiration to children who are going through this difficult time.
